Hi! I’m Betti Rooted Lionheart and I'm so excited to share my love of Altars with you!
Creating and spending time at my many altars is one of the most grounding aspects of my Spiritual Practice.
In this video, I share a bunch of reasons why an Altar is such a meaningful grounding practice. Feeling grounded increases our Resilience.
And I walk you through my simple method of putting together a beautiful, creative, and meaningful Altar.
If you don’t already have one, you might be wondering, “Why have a Spiritual practice?”
My answer is because believing in something that is greater than our individual selves, and vaster than this one lifetime, can really steady us in terrifying times.
I want Queer people to know that we can find our Spiritual homes, our Spiritual grounding, in reclaiming the Earth and Goddess based spiritualities of our Ancestors who welcomed Queerness as part of the beautiful spectrum of Life.
And I want to leave you with this one idea- The daily act of caring for your altar becomes a daily way of caring for yourself!
It is Resilience building. It helps us Resist!
