- Want to be witnessed in their despair, anger, grief and rage.
- Can come as you are, without judgement, without a need to mask.
- Wish to hold space for others to know they are not alone.
- Crave healing connection in a time of terrifying brutality and chaos.
- Want to become more resilient.
- Desire to experience transformation, together.
* Although we recognize that safety can never be guaranteed, we find it important to try to create safety in this Circle. We define Safe Space as a space where everyone’s identity is respected, discrimination and harassment aren’t tolerated, and where we can be vulnerable without fear of judgment or consequences.
Meet Your Facilitators:
Betti Rooted Lionheart (she/her)
Betti is a Queer Shamanic Healer and Empowerment Activist who helps people transform trauma, rage, grief, and despair into Voice, Power, and Purpose. She is passionate about supporting Teens, Queer People, and anyone who feels despair for the Earth and Humanity. Betti is a Facilitator of the Work That Reconnects, the Mother of two teenage Sons, and the founder of Braided Root Waters Healing Sanctuary.
Betti offers powerfully transformative Shamanic Healing Sessions and 1:1 Shamanic Mentorship for Teens (in-person and via zoom).
Sebastian Stout (he/him, they/them)
Sebastian is a trans-masc, non-binary, queer person, and is a solo parent of a teen. He is intuitive and passionate about connecting with nature and honoring the cycles of life, holding space for birth, death, and the process of composting. He brings a calm steady energy with authenticity and sincerity.
Sebastian works as an Integrative/Experiential Therapist for LGBTQ adults. He has a background in Ecotherapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, and an MA in Transformative Leadership. He is a facilitator of The Work that Reconnects, and is trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy, Kundalini Yoga and as a Birth Doula.
