In the last few months I’ve been leaning into understanding more about what Queerness means to me, learning (a little bit) about the history of Queerness in this country, and ruminating on how I can serve the Queer Community.
And I’ve become fascinated with Drag Queens after recently watching “AJ and the Queen” with my almost 13 year old son. This TV-14 rated show was written, created by, and stars world famous Drag Queen RuPaul Charles.

Yesterday I realized that my fascination is in large part due to what I assume to be true of Drag Queens- that they bring the fullness of their colorful, vibrant, soulful, outlandish, political, honest and true selves onto the stage… and at potentially great personal cost in this political climate.
And I realized that I too want to bring ALL OF ME everywhere that I go…
